SportPesa League Round 19 saw eight fixtures played across various venues in the country, with only AFC Leopards and Nairobi United exempted.

Ingwe were supposed to face Naibois, but the latter were on continental duty, traveling to Tanzania for a second-leg encounter of the CAF Confederation Cup against Azam FC, forcing a postponement.

That said, Gor Mahia’s 3-0 win over relegation-threatened Sofapaka at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday opened a four-point gap at the top – they now have 40 points, compared to second-placed AFC Leopards’ 36, though Ingwe have a game in hand.

The result saw them miss a chance to break into the top three, instead rounding out the top five with 29 points.

All things considered, Gor Mahia dominated the Team of the Week released by Tisini, with Mara Sugar following closely behind. Kariobangi Sharks, Shabana, Bidco United, and Kenya Police FC also had players making the cut.
