  • AFC Leopards will hold their Annual General Meeting in conjunction with the elections on Sunday, 29th June 2025, at the Stade Hotel Ballroom, Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani
  • Following a review and verification of the voter register conducted last month, the club has released a list of 2,684 verified members eligible to vote.
  • The official campaign period will run from 10th to 27th June 2025.

AFC Leopards have officially unveiled a detailed roadmap for their upcoming General Elections, scheduled for the weekend of 29th June 2025 at the Stade Hotel Ballroom, Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

This announcement follows the club’s decision to disregard the directive from the Sports Registrar, who had advised postponement of the elections.

Registrar Rose Wasike cited the Sports Act, 2013, which stipulates a four-year term for elected officials, clarifying that the current executive’s mandate legally extends to June 2026, not 2025 as previously assumed by the club leadership.

Nevertheless, the club is now set to convene a Special General Meeting (SGM), with the election as the primary agenda.

During this assembly, members will elect a new National Executive Committee (NEC), including fresh leadership in the three principal positions: Chairman, Secretary General, and Treasurer.

In preparation, the NEC has already established an Elections Management Group (EMG) to oversee the process.

The EMG has since formulated a comprehensive roadmap and timelines, ensuring clarity for both members and aspirants throughout the electoral process.
